A few artists in Los Angeles don't like all the advertisement polluting their city. Here is their way of handling the situation with their art. Info is below each video, enjoy!
Los Angeles-based artist collective Cyrcle exposes the battle between art and advertising when they discover that while law enforcement has been cracking down on street art and murals, bizarre laws have allowed corporations to illegally place over 4000 billboard ads in their city.
Street artists Lydia Emily and Smear discuss how law enforcement has made it illegal for them to sell their art. Cyrcle speaks with legendary street artist Ron English who gives them tips on taking over billboards, while Lydia Emily gets creative with ways to still get her art into the streets. LA street artists launch a campaign against the 4,000 illegal billboards in their community. Artists include Cyrcle, Desire Obtain Cherish (DOC), Benjamin, War N Buff It, LEBA, Septerhead, Destroy All Design, John Carlos De Luna & Esteban Cons.
